About AZschoolrankings.com

AZschoolrankings.com is an ongoing research project that organizes public Arizona high school assessment and school-context data into a searchable ranking interface.

The project is independent. It is not operated, sponsored, reviewed, or endorsed by the Arizona Department of Education, NCES, any Arizona school district, or any charter operator.

The rankings are intended to make public data easier to inspect, compare, and question. They are not official accountability ratings and they do not measure every important part of a school, including course offerings, arts, athletics, special education services, student wellbeing, school culture, transportation, or family fit.

Methodology, source matching, and inclusion rules may change when better source evidence becomes available. Material methodology changes should be documented so users can understand what changed and why.
